AI Video Upscaler

The AI video upscaler
built into the pipeline.

Most upscalers are a separate tool with a separate subscription and a download step in between. The VisionX Finishing Studio picks up your approved renders where they already live: upscale to 2K or 4K, boost frame rate, trim cutdowns, and bill the same VX wallet as the shot itself.

PER-SECOND PRICING · QUOTED BEFORE RUN2K UPSCALE · 4 VX/SCLIP TAB · TRIM & CROP FREE
One studio, two jobs

Enhance the master. Cut the campaign.

Finishing is where an approved render becomes a deliverable. The Enhance tab lifts quality; the Clip tab turns one master into the thirty cutdowns the media plan actually needs.

2K and 4K upscale

A faithful resolution lift for social, web, and broadcast masters. Runs on real BytePlus enhancement models, not a browser filter.

Creative upscale

Re-synthesizes fine texture while it scales. Skin, fabric, and foliage hold up on the close-up instead of smearing.

FPS boost

Frame interpolation for smooth slow motion and motion-heavy cuts, priced per second of source like every other pass.

Trim and crop

Cut any finished render into shorts and vertical crops in the Clip tab. No enhancement charge on trims.

Cost preview on every job

The VX cost updates per second of source as you set the job up. Nothing runs until you see the number.

vCube scene-aware enhancement

BytePlus vCube cuts the clip into shots and picks the operators each one needs — presets for AI-generated, general, phone, short-drama, and archival footage — at Fast, Standard, or Pro tiers.

Frame-rate interpolation

Raise a clip to a higher frame rate on a dedicated interpolation pass, so a 24fps render can deliver as smooth motion without a re-generation.

Relight and skin

Re-light a finished take, or run a skin pass on a close-up, without going back to the composer and rolling the shot again.

Face mosaic

Blur or pixelate faces in a delivered clip — the pass a broadcaster or a compliance review asks for, run on the master rather than in an edit suite.

Text erasure

Remove burned-in text from a shot: a legacy supers pass, an on-screen caption, or signage that has to come out for another market.

Cut out the background

Pull a subject off its background as an alpha cut-out, for stills as well as clips, ready to composite over a new plate.

The rate card

Priced per second, quoted before you run

Live figures from the same cost table that meters the studio. The 5-second column is the production-default clip length.

Seedance 2.0 renders native 4K directly, so hero shots can skip the upscale pass entirely. Finishing earns its keep on lower-tier renders, guest-engine output, and filmed plates.

How it works

Render to deliverable, three moves

01

Pick the render

Open any finished generation in the Finishing Studio. Your library, plates, and approvals are already there; nothing gets downloaded and re-uploaded.

02

Set the pass

Choose upscale, FPS boost, or a trim. The VX cost updates per second of source while you configure, so the price is settled before the job exists.

03

Deliver

The finished master lands back in the same library, ready for delivery presets, share links, and the approval gate.

FAQ

The AI video upscaler, answered

How much does upscaling a video cost?
Finishing is priced per second of source video and quoted before the job runs. A 2K upscale is 4 VX per second (20 VX for a 5-second clip), a 4K upscale is 6 VX per second, and the premium creative upscale is 10 VX per second. The exact cost appears next to the button before you commit.
What is the difference between 4K upscale and creative upscale?
The 2K and 4K upscalers do a faithful resolution lift: same pixels, more of them, cleaner edges. Creative upscale re-synthesizes fine texture (skin, fabric, foliage) while it scales, which reads dramatically better on close-ups but can reinterpret detail. Master shots usually take the faithful pass; hero close-ups are where creative upscale earns its rate.
Do I even need an upscale pass on Seedance 2.0 renders?
Often not. Seedance 2.0 renders native 4K directly, so a hero shot can finish at delivery resolution with no upscale pass. Finishing matters for shots rendered on the cheaper engines, guest-engine output capped at 720p or 1080p, and archival or filmed plates entering the pipeline.
Which plans include the Finishing Studio?
2K upscale, 4K upscale, and color grade start on the Studio plan. The premium kinds (creative upscale, FPS boost, relight, skin enhancer) start on Studio Scale. Free and Creator workspaces can trim and crop clips but do not include enhancement passes.
Can I trim a long render into cutdowns?
Yes. The Finishing Studio has a Clip tab: trim and crop any finished render into shorts and cutdowns before or after an enhancement pass. Trims are free of enhancement charges.
What is vCube enhancement, and how is it different from the 2K/4K upscale?
vCube is BytePlus VOD's scene-aware enhancement. It splits the clip into shots and applies the right mix of operators to each — deblur, artifact removal, face and texture detail, then upscaling — with presets for AI-generated footage, general content, phone footage, short drama, and film restoration. It comes in three tiers: Fast (0.3 VX per second at 4K), Standard (0.6 VX per second at 4K), and Pro (6 VX per second at 4K, large-model restoration). The classic 2K/4K upscale is a single faithful resolution lift; vCube is a full quality pass that also lifts resolution.
What about color grade, relight, and skin enhancer?
They are on the finishing menu and rolling out now. Pricing is published in the studio as each one goes live, on the same per-second and per-frame quoting as every other job.
