Why Generic AI Workflows Break

A prompt box gives you a generation. A campaign needs a system that remembers what has already been approved.

That's where VXStudio's Cast, DNA Library and Reference Plates become important.

Cast

locks the character identity. The same Cast resolves to the verified identity across shots and engines, rather than relying on whichever reference image was pasted into the next prompt. The system also runs a cross-shot consistency check to flag identity drift before the client sees the board.

DNA Library

takes that one step further. It stores reusable identities, environments and brand assets at the production level, so consistency doesn't depend on one producer remembering which reference to use.

Then there are Reference Plates.

A location, product, wardrobe or other critical visual gets locked once, with its camera, lens and lighting information attached. Every shot that references that plate works from the same approved source.

So when a client changes shot four, we're not asking the model to rediscover the character, product and environment from scratch.
