Price calculator

Know the cost before you render.

Describe the shot and see exactly what it consumes. These are not indicative figures — they come from the same pricing engine that meters the studio, so the number here is the number the composer quotes next to the Generate button.

How the number is reached

Four things move the price. Two things don't.

Generation is billed by how much video a model has to make, and how expensive that model is per second. Everything else is a creative choice you make for free.

What moves it

  • The model. Each one has its own rate per second of output, from the cheap draft tiers up to the mastering engines.
  • Output duration. Cost is linear in the seconds you ask for.
  • Resolution. More pixels per frame costs the provider more, and that carries through.
  • Feeding in a video. Source footage is billed alongside the output, and a reference-driven shot never bills below 1.7× its output length.

What doesn't

  • Aspect ratio. A vertical cut costs the same as a widescreen one.
  • Frame rate. Every model delivers 24 fps as standard.
  • Native audio. On models that generate sound, it is included in the rate rather than charged on top.
  • Your prompt. Length and Cast bindings do not change what a video shot costs. References are free on almost every model — MiniMax H3 is the one exception, and it grants five before anything is charged. The calculator shows that line when it applies.

One shot, priced across the roster

The same 5-second 720p text-to-video shot on seven different models. The spread is the reason the calculator exists: picking the right engine for the job is the single biggest lever you have.
